Privacy statement

This statement explains how HomeSec Business Finance Pty Ltd (ABN 50 150 013 513) ("HomeSec", "we") handles personal information collected through investoropportunities.com.au. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you register your interest we collect your name, email address, mobile number, the entity you would invest through, whether you are a sophisticated or wholesale investor, your intended timing and amount, your lending experience and anything else you choose to tell us. We also record the page you enquired from and basic campaign information (such as the website or advert that referred you).

How we use it

We use your information to contact you about co-funding opportunities, to confirm your eligibility as a wholesale or sophisticated investor, to verify your identity before you invest, and to manage the loans you co-fund. We do not sell your information.

Who we share it with

Your enquiry is stored in our secure systems (including Google Workspace) and read by HomeSec staff. If you co-fund a loan, your details appear on the loan and mortgage documents and are shared with the solicitors and land titles offices involved in that loan. We may also share information where the law requires it.

Website analytics

We may use cookies and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how the site is used. These tools collect information about your device and visit, not your identity. You can block cookies in your browser.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by calling us on 03 9017 8277 or writing to us at Level 1, Suite 6, 1488 Ferntree Gully Road, Knoxfield VIC 3180. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
